This is one drink which i made recently and i am in love with it. This is great for breakfast during hot summer days, since having hot ragi malt is impossible these days. I made this chocolate version for me and a plain badam version for hubby. He loved it so much. You will never find ragi added in this drink unless mentioned. The ragi just act as a thickening agent and gives a nice creamy texture to the smoothie.

Preparation Time : 5 mins
Cooking Time : 5 mins
Ragi Flour / Finger Millet Flour – 2 to 3 tblspn
Water – 1/2 cup
Cocoa Powder – 1 to 2 tblspn or to taste
Cold Milk – 2 cups
Sugar to taste
Take ragi flour in a sauce pan, add in water and mix well so no lumps is formed. Now cook this on low heat till it thickens.
Take it off the heat and add in cocoa powder.Now cool this mixture.
Take it in a blender, add in sugar and milk and blend till creamy.
Pour into glass and chill before serving.

|now take it off the heat and add cocoa powder|
|cool this down and add it in a blender|
|add milk ..make sure the milk is cold|
|now blend this up|
