    I made this today for lunch, i had a packet of sweet corn lying in the freezer and my lil one just loves steamed sweet corn. So i steamed some for her and made this delicious fried rice for lunch.

    This is so easy to put together, you can add whatever veggies you like or have on hand. You can make this just with sweet corn and spring onions..You dont need any sidedish for this, but you can have it with any chinese recipes.

    Preparation Time : 10 mins
    Cooking Time : 25 to 30 mins
    Serves : 3

    Ingredients:

    Oil - 3 tblspn
    Basmati Rice - 3 cups cooked (Recipe here)
    Ginger - 1 tblspn finely chopped
    Garlic - 1 tblspn finely chopped
    Green Chillies - 3 chopped finely
    Spring Onion  White Part - from 4 chopped
    Carrot - 1 medium size chopped finely
    Cabbage - 2 cups chopped finely
    Capsicum - ½ chopped finely
    Sweet Corn - 1 cup ( i used frozen)
    Salt to taste
    Sugar to taste
    Red Chilli Flakes to taste
    Soya Sauce - 1 tblspn or to taste
    Vinegar - 1 tsp or to taste
    Spring Onion Green Part - from 4 chopped finely

    Method:

    Heat oil in a wok till smoking hot. Add in ginger, garlic, chillies and spring onion white and saute for a min or so.

    Add in all the veggies and salt, sugar. Mix well and cook for 5 to 8 mins till it is cooked.

    Add in sweet corn and saute for 5 mins till it is cooked.

    Add in soy sauce, vinegar and mix well.

    Add in chilli flakes and mix well

    Add in cooked rice and toss well.

    Add in spring onion greens and toss well.

    Serve hot.

    once everything is cooked

    now it is done

      Can I use corn rice ? It is a corn in rice form, will it affect the taste? Have tried using it?

      Hi aarthi sister i love your blog recipe it's awesome I want to cook baby corn fried rice bcoz I tasted that dish in one restorant I loved it so I want to prepare at home so please share that recipe in your blog sister,,,,
