Ingredients for Sweet Mathri

Jaggery - ½ cup

Water - ¼ cup

Wheat flour - 1 ¼ cup

Fennel Seed Powder - 1 tsp

Ghee - 2 tblspn

Oil for deep frying

How to Make Sweet Mathri
- Take jaggery and water in a sauce pan, heat till it is melted. Set aside to cool.
- Take wheat flour in a bowl, add fennel seed powder, ghee and mix well.
- Now strain in the jaggery syrup and mix well. Add more water if needed.
- Make it into a dough.
- Now roll it little thick, cut using a cutter or bowl into rounds, prick all over with fork.
- Now fry them in oil till crispy.
- Drain and serve.
