    About this Recipe

The term paratha refers to a flatbread from the Indian subcontinent that is popular in modern-day India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Maldives, Myanmar, Malaysia, Singapore, Mauritius, Fiji, Guyana, Suriname, and Trinidad and Tobago, where wheat is the traditional staple.

Is parotta a South Indian dish?

The Parotta is simply well-kneaded refined flour coiled and rolled into flaky flatbread with a dollop of ghee or oil. Regardless, this South Indian staple is known for its adaptability, as chefs have evolved and adapted it to changing regional tastes.

    What is paratha vs naan?

While paratha is bread, it is not baked in the same way that naan is. It is instead fried in a tawa, or stone frying pan, with butter or cooking oil. While naan is typically rolled out once and slapped against the side of the tandoor, paratha is frequently rolled out
multiple times, resulting in a very flaky bread.

    Ingredients for Vegetarian Egg Paratha

    Onion:
Onions are considered a basic ingredient or the foundation of Indian cooking and are used to make any gravy, curry, or bhuna dish. The flavour and aroma of onion transforms any ordinary dish into a mouthwatering and delectable one.

    Green Chilli  :
The green chillies in cooked or raw form give a fiery hot flavor. To reduce the fiery hot flavor the seeds and inner membranes could be removed which is effective at reducing the heat of the pod.

It says directly in the title that it is a VEGAN recipe. Meaning there is no egg in it.
