Chicken Clear Soup Recipe

Soups are the only dish that is completely dedicated for winter and cold day. I am doing BM in the theme winter special, then how could there be no soup recipes..Yes here I am with the simplest soup ever.

This is one of the flavourful soups and can be made within 30 mins overall. I love to have it on a cold day as well as if I am not felling that well..This clears off any throat infections because we add lots of pepper to this soup..

I highly recommend to try this soup.. I am sending this recipe to Blogging Marathan Day 6 in the theme Winter Special.. Hope you love it..

Chicken ( I used one boneless chicken breast)
Carrot – 1 cut into big pieces
Onion-1 cut into big pieces
Ginger – 1 inch piece cut into chunks
Fresh Red Chilli-1 chopped (  You could use green chilli as well)
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Cornflour – 1 tblspn ( I mixed it with some cold water to make it into a thin paste)
Cilantro / Coriander leaves for garnishing
Fresh Red Chilli - 1 chopped finely for garnishing
Water – 500 ml

Take water in a sauce pan and add in carrot, onions, ginger, red chilli, salt, pepper and chicken in it.

Cook this for 10 mins or untill the chicken is cooked.Remove the chicken and shred into small pieces and set aside for a moment.

Drain the stock and discard the vegetables.

Now pour the stock back into the pan and bring it to a boil.

Add the chicken back in this and simmer for a min.

Now pour the cornflour slurry in this and mix well till it gets little think.

Ladle it in a soup bowl and garnish with cilantro and fresh chillies.

Serve piping hot and enjoy.

Take all your ingrediants
boil water in a sauce pan
add ginger and chillies
add carrot and onions
and your chicken
season with salt and pepper
cook it gently till chicken is cooked
remove the chicken piece from this
drain the stock
Yummy flavourful stock done..
now shred the chicken
bring the stock to boil
Add chicken piece in this
simmer for a while
add cornflour slurry in this
mix well till it thickens
pour into a bowl
garnish with cilantro and fresh chillies
Enjoy each spoonful of goodness

Can you see the steaming soup..This soup is like heaven
