Rajma Paratha Recipe / Stuffed Rajma Paratha Recipe / Kidney Beans Paratha Recipe

Stuffed parathas are so versatile, because you don't have to worry about making sidedishes for it. And also you can make the stuffing ahead of time and make the paratha whenever you need. I love to have stuffed paratha with either pickles or raita..

This paratha is a spicy rajma stuffed one. I make rajma curry often, but this is the first time i tried stuffing that inside paratha and it was divine. So try it out and let me know how it turned out for you..

Preparation Time : 10 mins
Cooking Time : 40 to 45 mins
Serves : 3 to 4

Oil - 1 tsp
Garam Masala Powder - 1 tsp
Chilli Powder - 1 tsp (Optional)
Amchoor Powder / Dry Mango Powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Coriander Leaves - 3 tblspn finely chopped

For Dough :
Wheat flour / Atta - 2 cups

Water as needed

Method:

Make a dough with wheat flour, salt and water. Knead well and allow it to rest for 30 mins.

Now take soaked rajma in a pressure cooker, cover it with water and cook for 6 whistle and simmer the cooker for 15 mins. Turn off the stove and let the steam go all by itself. Open the cooker and drain the rajma. Mash it well.

Now heat oil in a kadai. Add in onions, chillies and ginger garlic paste. Saute it for a min.

Add in cooked mashed rajma and mix well. Add in garam masala powder, salt and amchoor powder. Mix well.

Add in coriander leaves and mix well. Once it comes together remove it to a bowl and let it cool down.

Now divide the dough and this rajma mix into equal portions. Tae one dough and flatten it slightly, place rajma ball inside this and cover all the sides. Roll it carefully and cook on hot tawa till the paratha is cooked on both sides, drizzle oil while cooking paratha.
