Easy & Healthy Lemon Sorbet Recipe


Sorbet is my favourite. Because it is easy to make, delicious to eat, plus it is healthy than icecream, so we can eat it without any guilt.

This lemon sorbet is so easy to make, it needs just three ingredients to make. taste just fantastic..

Preparation Time : 10 mins
Chilling Time : 8 Hours
Serves : 4 to 5

Ingredients:

Sugar - 1 cup
Water - 2 cup
Lemon Juice - 1/4 cup
Lemon Zest - 1/2 tsp

Method:

Take Sugar, water in a sauce pan and heat till it is melted.

Pour it into a bowl and let it cool a bit.

Now add in lemon juice and zest.

Mix well. Cover and freeze for 3 to 4 hours.

Now take it in a blender and puree till smooth. Transfer it into the bowl and freeze for 1 more hour. Now repeat this for 3 times.

Scoop and serve.

Start by zesting your lemons

Just grate the lemon part alone, dont grate the white part,
 it will be bitter..

Now cut the lemons in half

Time to squeeze the juice from them



Squeeze it out

I got around 1/4 cup of lemon juice

Take sugar in a sauce pan

Pour in water

Heat so the sugar is melted

Now the sugar is all melted

Pour it into a bowl and let it cool

Add in lemon juice



Add in lemon zest

give a good mix

Cover it up and freeze

Freeze it for 4 to 5 hours

take it out

scoop it into a blender

Puree them

Pour it into the same bowl and freeze for one more hour..

Take in again in a blender
Puree again


Pour it in the bowl and freeze till frozen

Now scoop and serve
Enjoy

    It looks refreshing :). As of now, i do not have a blender can i crush and refreeze instead of using blender.

  2. @Sunshineyou can blend them using handblender or in a food processor. Blending is what makes this sorbet smooth

  4. Aarthi today i tried this recipe but after 4hrs it is not firm n still it is in freezer only . What is the reason ........pl revert soon waiting.....
