Khoya Besan Ladoo Recipe - Khoya Ladoo Recipe

This is one ladoo which i made recently and loved it to the core..It is made with besan and khoya and taste so yummy. It can be made in few minutes and it taste so delicious..I am sure this will be a great addition to your diwali sweet list..

The gram flour smells so heavenly when toasted, and the addition of khoya makes it taste so wonderful..

Preparation Time : 10 mins
Cooking Time : 15 to 25 mins
Makes : 10 to 12 ladoos


Besan / Gram Flour / Kadalai Mavu - 1/2 cup
Khoya / Mawa - 1/2 cup
Powdered Sugar - 1/4 cup
Ghee - 1/4 cup
Cardamom Powder - 1 tsp
Cashews - 2 tblspn chopped
Kishmish / Sultanas - 2 tblspn

For Homemade Khoya, Check out traditional version and instant version..


Heat 1/4 cup of ghee, add in cashews and fry till golden, add in kishmish and mix well. Drain it and set aside.

Now in the remaining ghee add in besan and fry till golden and toasty.
Add in khoya and mix well. fry for few more mins.

Add in powdered sugar and mix well.

Add in cardamom powder and nuts and mix well.

Allow this to cool down, take small portion and shape it into ladoo.


Take all your ingredients

Heat little ghee in a pan

add cashews and raisan

fry till golden

remove it and set aside

take sugar in a blender

powder them finely

now in the remaining ghee

add in besan

saute them well

roast them lightly

toast them till golden

now it is almost done

add in khoya

fry them 

keep toasting them 

now add in sugar

and cardamom powder

add in the fried nuts

toss well

now it is done..cool it

take a small portion

shape it into ladoo




  1. can v use store bought sweetened palkova??

  2. @Anonymousif u use sweetened, then skip the sugar added in this

  3. While adding sugar should the gas be kept on

  4. @Unknownyes it has to be on heat, but just mix once and turn off the heat.
