    Mashed potatoes with step by step pictures. This makes perfect side dish for any main course for your christmas or thanksgiving table. Learn how to make perfect potatoes with a handful of ingredients.

    Creamy Mashed Potatoes

    This will be the top comforting food on earth. It is such a crowd pleaser as well. But making a perfect potatoes can be tricky. Here i am showing you the creamiest mashed potatoes ever. It is quite easy too.

    For perfect mashed potatoes,

    1)Cook potatoes in lots of salted boiling water till it is completely done.
    2)You could use potato masher, whisk or a potato ricer to mash the potatoes.
    3)When you add liquid ingredients to the potatoes use a spatula and fold it. if you whisk it too hard then it will turn gloopy.
    4)After you finished making the potatoes, place it in a pan of simmering water so it stays nice and warm.

    Ingredients for Making Mashed Potatoes

    • Potatoes - 4 large peeled and cubed
    • Cream - ½ cup
    • Milk - ½ cup
    • Butter - 3 tblspn
    • Salt & Pepper to taste
    • Nutmeg a pinch

    How to Make Mashed potatoes

    1. Take potatoes in a sauce pan, cover with water. Add a generous pinch of salt and bring it to a boil. once it boils, simmer the flame and cook till potatoes are tender.
    2. Drain them, take it in the same pan. Mash it with a potato masher.
    3. Now in a sauce pan, take milk, cream, butter and warm it slightly.
    4. Now pour this in the potatoes little by little and fold gently.
    5. Add salt, pepper and nutmeg and fold gently.
    6. Serve warm.

    Ingredients

    Mashed Potatoes Step by Step

    Take some potatoes

     

    peel off the skin

     

    cut in cubes and wash them well, take it in a pot

     

    cover with water

     

    add a good pinch of salt

     

    bring it to a boil

     

    cook till done

     

    insert a knife to check whether it is done

     

    now use a potato masher or a whisk to mash it well

     

    like this

     

    now in a sauce pan, take cream

     

    add butter

     

    add milk

     

    warm it little

     

    pour it into the potatoes

     

    fold gently

     

    add remaining milk

     

    fold again gently

     

    season with salt and pepper

     

    and some nutmeg 

     

    fold gently
