    Baby Potato Fry Recipe with Step by Step Pictures. Small Potato Poriyal made with baby potatoes, spices and cooked till golden brown. This small potato poriyal goes well with rice.

    Baby Potato Fry

    This is a quick and easy poriyal which is made using baby potatoes. It is fast to make and needs just a handful of ingredients. Taste great with rasam or sambar rice or anything. This dish can be done in under 20 mins or so. You can make this and have it on its own as well, it is that delicious.

    This one is similar to my potato poriyal. But i wanted to share it because baby potatoes are super cute in a picture.

    Ingredients for Baby Potato Fry

    • Baby Potatoes - 20 cooked and peeled
    • Salt to taste
    • Turmeric Powder / Manjal Podi - 1 tsp
    • Oil - 3 tblspn
    • Mustard Seeds / Kaduku - 1 tsp
    • Urad dal / Ulundu Paruppu - 1 tsp
    • Curry leaves - 2 sprig
    • Chilli Powder - 1 tsp

    How to Make Baby Potato Fry

    1. Cook baby potatoes in salted water till it is cooked, drain and peel off the skin. Set aside.
    2. Heat oil in a kadai. Add in mustard seeds, urad dal and curry leaves. let them sizzle.
    3. Add in potatoes, turmeric and salt and toss well. Cook till it gets roasted.
    4. Add in chilli powder and mix well.
    5. Serve.
