Basil Pesto Recipe – Basil Pesto Pasta Recipe with step wise pictures.
Super flavourful pesto pasta which has vibrant pesto tossed into it. This makes a great lunch box recipe.
I wanted to try this for quite a long time, but i put it aside in my bucketlist because i couldn’t get fresh basil leaves in my place. Yesterday when we went shopping i saw few veggies on the rack, immediately i picked out quite a few of them. I saw this basil leaves at ridiculously cheap price, it was just 10 Rs. I picked 4 bunches of it.
Immediately i tried basil chicken and this one.

You can make this sauce in bulk and freeze it in small container to use in the future too.

- Spaghetti or any Pasta as needed
- Basil - 3 cups
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Cashews - 1/4 cup
- Salt to taste
- Parmesan Cheese - 1/4 cup
- Olive Oil - 1/2 cup
- Take all ingredients for pesto in a blender except oil. Puree til coarsely crushed.
- Now drizzle olive oil in it and blend till smooth.
- Now pesto is done.
- Cook pasta in salted boiling water till it is cooked.
- Drain and toss in some pesto.
1)Take cashews in a blender
2)Add in basil
3)Add in garlic
4)Add little parmesan cheese
5)Add some salt
6)Now everything is added in.
7)Grind it well.
8)Add in olive oil.
9)Now blend this to a smooth puree.
10)Now it is nice and smooth.
12)So vibrant and so flavourful.
13)Take some cooked pasta. I am using spaghetti
14)Add some pesto on top.
16) Serve immediately.
