Spaghetti with Tomato Sauce Recipe / Tomato Spaghetti Recipe

This is a simple tomato based pasta dish. It is super easy and super tasty.

This recipe is very simple and similar to all tomato based pasta recipe. But it is much more easy. This has a lovely flavour of olive oil, garlic, oregano and parmesan cheese. Perfect for dinner or after school snacks for kids..

Preparation Time : 5 mins
Cooking Time : 10 to 15 mins
Serves : 1 or 2

Ingredients:
Spaghetti – 100 grams (use any pasta)
Tomatoes – 2 large roughly crushed
Olive Oil – 2 tblspn
Garlic – 6 fat cloves sliced thinly
Salt to taste
Sugar – 1/2 tsp or to taste
Chilli Flakes – 1 tsp or to taste
Oregano – 1 tsp or to taste
Parmesan Cheese – 1/2 cup grated (use any cheese)
Method:
Bring lots of water to boil, add in salt and drop in the pasta. Cook as per package directions.
When the pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in a pan.
Add in garlic and fry till golden.

Add in tomatoes, salt and sugar. Mix well. Cook this till the raw smell leaves from tomatoes.
Add in chilli flakes and oregano. Mix well and cook for few more mins. Sauce done.
Now drain the pasta and add it to sauce along with cheese.
Toss well and serve immediately.

Take your simple ingredients

Heat a good amount of olive oil in a pan

add in sliced garlic cloves

fry till they are light golden

add in some roughly crushed tomatoes

mix that well with the garlic oil

add some salt and sugar

mix well and cook till raw smell leaves from the mix

Now the raw smell is gone
add in a good amount of oregano and chilli flakes

mix well

sauce done
Mean while cook the pasta..i used linguine

bring lots and lots of water to boil

add in a good amount of salt

drop the pasta in

let them cook

now they are cooked

drain it
toss it into the sauce

now add in a good amount of parmesan cheese
or any cheese

mix well

serve hot.

    All r ur recipes are excellent. I have learnt so much dishes. Pictorial are so much helpful. Keep up the good work. I want to bring forth one thing that ur website takes a lot of time to load.     Yes, nowadays it takes much time to load. I think u recently changed the theme and that made the site slow, im not sure. Check and rock back soon with more recipes…

    My peppa pig obsessed girl wanted me to cuk spaghetti for her. This being a completely new dish that i have never tried a hand at cooking I turned to ur site for a simple recipe and voila dis one was jus wat i was lukn for. Minimal resources and maximum taste. U have ignited an interest in me for tryng out more pasta recipes.
    Will let u knw as n when i try on oder recipes from ur site.
