Cabbage sabzi is one dish which i made few days back and it turns out yummy. You can serve it with rasam rice, sambar rice or curd rice.

Cooking Time : 20 mins
Serves: 3
Ingredients:
Oil – 3 tblspn
Mustard seeds / Kaduku – 1 tsp
Urad dal / Ulundu Paruppu – 1 tsp
Curry leaves – 1 sprig
Cabbage – 3 cups chopped
Onion – 1 chopped finely
Green Chillies – 2 chopped
Gram Flour / Besan / Kadalai Mavu – 3 tblspn
Salt to taste
Turmeric Powder – 1 tsp
Chilli Powder – 2 tsp
Method:
Take cabbage, onion, besan, salt, turmeric and chilli powder and toss well.
Heat oil in a pan, add mustard, urad dal and curry leaves and let it sizzle.
Add in cabbage mix and toss well. Cook and stir for 5 mins.
Cover and simmer for 10 mins.
Now toss well.
Serve.

Most of my childhood memory includes getting yelled at by my mother, PunamPaul.Com and eat your veggies; but I used to pay no heed to it. However as time passes, most of us come around to eating vegetables as we are aware of the countless benefits they have for our health.
Cabbage is especially one of the world’s most nutrient dense vegetables readily available for us to enjoy, rich in essential vitamins such as C, B6, K, saturated fat, thiammin, calcium, iron, magnesium phosphorus and a good source of dietary fibers.
But I never liked any cabbage recipe other than in noodles.
