Cantaloupe Juice Recipe | Muskmelon Juice Recipe

Muskmelon juice is one of the most simple and refreshing drinks to make during the summer. Made with only a few ingredients—ripe muskmelon sugar, lemon juice, and cold water—it comes together quickly and tastes light and sweet. It's a great way to stay hydrated, especially on hot days when your food is heavier. This drink cools your body while also soothing and relaxing your stomach. When the temperature rises, it's best to drink it first thing in the morning or at lunchtime.

    Equipment

    • Blender

    Ingredients

    • 3 cups Cantaloupe / Muskmelon peeled and chopped
    • 4 tablespoon Sugar or Honey to taste
    • 2 tablespoon Lemon Juice
    • 2 cups Ice Cold Water

    Instructions

    • Pre-Prep - First, gently rinse the muskmelon to remove any dirt from its skin. Then cut it in half and scoop out the seeds with a spoon—a simple but satisfying procedure. Following that, scoop out the flesh and set it aside. If there is any natural juice in the melon, don't waste it; instead, mix it for extra flavor.
    • Blending the Juice - Mix the muskmelon pieces with about 1 tablespoon of sugar (or less if the fruit is sweet enough) and a small spoonful of lemon juice. Then add just enough cold water to get it started. Mix everything until it's smooth and creamy. If it feels too thick, add a little more water and mix again quickly. You can choose between a thick and slushy texture and a light, drinkable thickness.
    • Serving - Once the juice is blended, either serve it right away or chill it in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes. Usually pour it into large mugs with a few ice cubes for a nice, refreshing drink. If feeling fancy, put a small mint leaf on top or a slice of lemon to the rim - it makes the whole thing feel a little more special with little effort.
