Chilli Garlic Noodles Recipe – Spicy Chinese Chilli Garlic Noodles Recipe

Making noodles can be pretty easy. I do make them when i cook any indo chinese sidedishes like paneer dishes or chicken dishes or anything. They go perfectly with them. Even today i made garlic chicken and chilli chicken, so i also made this noodles to go with them.

I make noodles different type each time. I make mushroom noodles, paneer noodles, chicken noodles, will share all those recipes soon..For today i am giving you a simple yet spicy chilli garlic noodles..This recipe is similar to my veg hakka noodles with a slight variation.Hope you will give this a try and let me know how it turns out for you..

Preparation Time : 10 mins
Cooking Time : 15 to 20 mins
Serves : 2 to 3


Ingredients:

Noodles – 200 grams
Oil – 2 tblspn
Ginger – 1 tblspn finely chopped
Garlic – 1 tblspn finely chopped
Dry Red Chillies – 3 to 4 broken into small pieces
Carrot – 1 cut lengthwise
Cabbage – 1 cup shredded
Capsicum / Bell Peppers – 2 cups sliced thinly
Chilli Garlic Paste – 2 to 3 tblspn (Recipe here)
Salt to taste
Sugar to taste
Soy Sauce – 1 tsp or to taste
Spring Onions a handful chopped finely


Method:

Bring lots of water to boil, add in salt and noodles. Cook noodles as per package directions. Drain them, rinse them in cold water and set aside. You can drizzle some oil over the noodles and toss. Set aside.

Heat oil in a kadai. Add in ginger, garlic and saute for a min.

Add in dry red chillies and saute that too.

Add in carrots, cabbage and peppers. add some salt and sugar.Cook for few mins.

Now add in chilli garlic paste and soy sauce. Mix well.

Add in noodles and toss well. Add in lots of spring onion and mix well.

Serve hot

Pictorial:

Bring lots of water to boil
Add in salt
I used this egg noodles
Break them up and add it to the boiling water
Cook till done
Drain them
Wash them in cold water
Now drizzle a tblspn of oil all over it
done

Take all your ingredients
Heat oil in a kadai. Add in ginger garlic paste..You can add some choopped ginger and garlic
fry them for a min or so
add in dry red chillies
fry them for few sec
add in carrots and cabbage
add in bell peppers
toss well
add little salt
and some sugar
mix that well
add in some chilli garlic paste..recipe here
mix that around
add a dash of soya sauce
mix well
add in some cooked noodles
toss well..Finish with some spring onions
Serve

    I am writing becoz I am aware that all comments are read by you personally. My intention is to just bring it to your notice before anyone else.
    Please remove the pic if you can before anyone observes. The Kim's high quality Noodle pack has crossed it's expiry date.
    Mfg. date : Aug 2014 and Best before 9 months. That is before May 2015.
