Preparation Time : 10 mins
Cooking Time : 35 to 40 mins
Serves: 4
Butter – 2 tblspn
Shahi Jeera – 1 tsp
Chicken – 500 grams
Cream – 1 cup ( I used amul cream)
Water as needed
Lemon Juice to taste
For Masala:
Oil – 1 tblspn
Cinnamon Stick / Pattai – 3 cm piece
Fennel Seeds / Sombu / Saunf – 2 tsp
Ginger – 4 cm piece
Garlic – 4 cloves
Onion – 1 large chopped
Green Chillies – 4 to 5 chopped
Mint Leaves – 2 cups
Method:
Heat little oil in a pan, add in cinnamon and fennel seeds. Let them sizzle.
Add in ginger, garlic and saute for a min.
Now add in onions, chillies and saute till golden.
Add in mint leaves and cook till it is wilted. Cool it down.
Take it in a blender and puree till smooth.
Now in the same pan, heat some butter, add in shahi jeera and sizzle it.
Add in the pureed masala and salt. Cook till butter separates.
Now add in chicken and toss well.
Cover and simmer this till the chicken is cooked. Add water as needed.
Now add in cream and lemon juice and mix well.
Serve with naan..

add a bunch of fresh mint leaves |

take it in a blender |

melt some butter in a pan |
Add in some shahi jeera.. |
let them sizzle |
add in the mint puree |
mix well |
season with salt |
cook till butter separates |
add in chicken |
mix well |
cook till it is well seared |
cover and cook till chicken is done |
now chicken is done |
add in cream |
mix well..you can add some water if needed |
add in some lemon juice |
mix well |

wat can b used instead of fresh cream??
