    Instant Wheat Kara Kuzhi Paniyaram Recipe / Gothumai Paniyaram Recipe

    When i was checking out my recipe index, i found that i haven't posted much of kuzhi paniyaram recipes. Even though i make different kinds of it very often, because kuzhi paniyaram is my favourite

    I use my non stick kuzhi paniyaram pan, it is my favourite. Because you can experiment with any of your own kuzhi paniyaram in this and it will make sure it comes off easily without sticking..This is my recent experiment and i loved it to the core..

    Preparation Time : 10 mins
    Cooking Time : 2 to 3 mins per batch
    Serves : 2


    Ingredients:

    Wheat Flour / Atta - 1 cup
    Sooji / Bombay Rava - ½ cup
    Curd / Unsour Yogurt - ½ cup
    Water - 1 cup or as needed
    Salt to taste
    Eno Fruit Salt - 1 tsp (if using baking soda, use ½ tsp)
    Oil as needed for frying paniyaram


    For Seasoning:
    Oil - 1 tsp
    Mustard Seeds / Kaduku - 1 tsp
    Cumin Seeds / Jeerakam - 1 tsp
    Onions - 1 medium size chopped finely
    Curry leaves  a sprig
    Green Chillies - 1 chopped finely



    Method:

    Take wheat flour, sooji, curd, salt in a bowl. Add water slowly to make a little thick batter.

    Heat oil in a pan, add in all the ingredients given for seasoning. Fry for a min.

    Pour this over the batter and mix well. 

    Now add in eno fruit salt and mix well. It will get frothy now.

    Heat your paniyaram pan with oil. Spoon some batter in and fry till the bottom crisp up. Flip over and cook.

    Remove and serve.

    mix well..look how frothy it is

    heat oil in a paniyaram pan

    spoon batter in

    cook till the bottom crisp up

    flip over

    cook for few more min

    serve with tomato chutney or coconut chutney

      @Aarthy Biotecheno salt or baking soda gives the fluffy texture. If u omit it it will be dense
