    Mango Jam

I love making jams, not only it is healthy to make at home. But homemade jams taste really delicious than the store bought kind. This mango jam is so far the best one I have made, it taste like pure mangoes and makes your sandwich even more tasty. Hubby love his jam sandwich a lot when I make it with my homemade jams.

    About Mango Jam

Homemade jams is a great way to preserve fresh seasonal fruits for longer storage. When fruits are available abundantly in season, make fresh jam for your home and enjoy it during off season.

Mango jam is made with fresh mangoes, sugar and lemon juice. Homemade jams taste so fresh and refreshing than other store bought jam.

As usual I don't like to add pectin or preservatives in my jam. I make it with just fruit puree, sugar and a dash of lemon juice. The lemon acts as a preservative and also i don't make a whole bunch of jam. I always make a small batch of jam and keep it in fridge, it will last me for a good couple of weeks or even a month.

      such a simple recipe!
i make the jam similarly, however i don't puree the mangoes but just dice them into really small cubes as it makes the jam chunky.
      thanks aarthi.

        But one question
Is it ok to skip lemon

Lemon acts as a preservative and also helps brighten the taste of the jam. You can skip that if you want.
