Wiki – Jalfrezi (also jhal frezi, zalfrezi, jaffrazi, and many alternative spellings) is a type of curry which involves frying marinated pieces of meat, fish or vegetables in oil and spices to produce a dry, thick sauce.
This is my first attempt in trying this yummy dish. I have come across this so many times but never got a chance to try it. Couple days back i was thinking about making a new dish with paneer, suddenly i thought of this. Luckily i had all the ingredients on hand, so i dont have to run for getting ingredients. I made this in few minutes and it was totally yummy..
This is just a combination of veggies with a base of tomatoes. There are three types of tomatoes added in this, sliced tomatoes, pureed tomatoes and tomato ketchup, all these make them lip smackingly good..The last touch of kasuri methi is must because it gives the lovely aroma to the dish..So dont miss it..
