Papaya Salad Recipe / Fruit Salad Recipe

Salads are such a healthy dish to include your menu..I have been getting lots of request to post more salad recipe in my blog. So i thought of starting a series of salad. I have also made a lettuce and cherry tomato salad which will be my next recipe. This is a fruit salad with a different combination of fruits, mainly papaya which is so good for you…So give this a try and let me know how it turn out for you.

Preparation Time : 10 mins
Serves : 2 to 3

Ingredients:
Ripe Papaya – 1 cup peeled and cubed
Cantaloupe / Muskmelon – 1 cup peeled and cubed
Guava – 2 chopped
Apples – 2 chopped

For Dressing:
Lemon Juice – 2 tsp
Honey – 2 to 3 tblspn
Salt to taste 
Pepper to taste
Method:
Prepare the vegetables add add them to a bowl.
Take the dressing ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
Pour this over the fruits and toss well.
Serve.

Take all your ingredients

I start by making the dressing..take lemon juice in a bowl

add in some salt and pepper

now drizzle in some honey

you can adjust the sweetness as per your taste

Mix well and set aside
Now lets prepare the fruits

peel a ripe papya

deseed them and cube them

cut open a cantaloupe

scoop the seeds

peel em

cube them

now take couple of ripe guava

cube them

take couple of apples

cube them as well

Add all the fruits in a bowl

Add the dressing over

mix well

serve

    Hi thanks for this one too. Was about to ask u earlier but thought this the right time since its about raw fruits. As u know the leaves herbs n fruits we get in the market is highly contaminated both inside n outside with pesticides n other chemicals now n though we can't do much to what chemical inside but can make others aware how to use leaves n fruits clean b4 cooking. Appreciate ur valuable n easy to follow tips. God bless.Sonu Nair
