Scallion pancakes is easy to make and taste delicious with a cup of tea or coffee. This pancakes is one of chinese famous recipe. This can be served with either some sidedishes or even with a bowl of soup.

Scallion Pancakes Recipe

Scallion pancakes are not only a easy recipe to make. This pancake can be served with a cup of coffee or tea.

Ingredients

  • All Purpose Flour / Maida - 1 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar - 1 tsp
  • Oil - 2 tblsp + for pan frying
  • Water as needed
  • Spring Onions / Scallions - 1 cup chopped finely

Instructions

  • Take flour, salt and sugar in a bowl. Add oil and mix well. Add water little by little and knead to a soft dough. Leave it to rest for 30 mins.
  • Now take a small portion of dough and roll it in a well oiled surface. Sprinkle some chopped spring onions on top.
  • Roll it pretty tight. Now roll it again and flatten it gently.
  • Now pan fry this in a pan with little oil. Cover and cook till it is done.
  • Flip over and keep cooking till it is golden.
  • Serve hot.

9)Take a portion of the dough. Place it in a oiled surface

12)Roll it gently

13)Roll it gently

14)Make it into a log like

15)Roll it

16)Flatten it gently

17)Drizle some oil

18)cover and cook on low heat

19)Now it is cooked

20)Flip

21)cook on low heat till it is cooked

22)Serve hot
