Tamatar Paneer Curry Recipe – Tomato Paneer Curry Recipe

Tomato paneer curry is my go to recipe. It is fast to make and taste yummy with chapati or poori or bhaturas..Its been a while since i shared any paneer recipes, so i decided to make this quick fix curry and share it with you all.

Preparation Time : 10 mins
Cooking Time : 15 mins
Serves: 4


Ingredients:

Oil – 2 tblspn
Tomatoes – 4 large pureed
Cumin Seeds / Jeerakam – 1 tsp
Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
Garam Masala Powder – 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Sugar – 1 tsp
Paneer – 200 grams cubed
Peas – 1 cup(frozen)
Coriander leaves a handful finely chopped

Method:

Heat oil in a pan, add cumin and let them sizzle.

Now add in pureed tomatoes and mix well. Cook that till oil separates.

Add in salt, sugar, chilli powder and garam masala powder. Mix well.

Add water and bring it to a boil.

Now add in paneer and peas and simmer covered for 5 mins.

Add coriander leaves and serve.




Pictorial:

Take tomatoes in a blender
puree till smooth
heat oil in a nonstick pan
add in cumin
add pureed tomatoes
mix well
cover and cook
cook till tomatoes thicken
add salt, chilli powder
and some garam masala powder
mix well
add sugar
add water
Add paneer and peas
mix well
simmer for 5 more mins
done
add coriander leaves
mix well
Serve
