Paneer tomato curry which goes well with roti, rice, naan. This tamatar paneer curry taste delicious and is easy to make.

    Tomato Paneer Curry

Tomato paneer curry is my go to recipe. It is fast to make and taste yummy with chapati or poori or bhaturas. Its been a while since i shared any paneer recipes, so i decided to make this quick fix curry and share it with you all.

Paneer, also known as Indian cottage cheese, is a fresh acid-set cheese prepared from cow or buffalo milk that is popular in the Indian subcontinent (Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka).

The tomato paneer curry goes well with naans, rotis, phulkas, parathas, or any other flatbread from India. It's a very easy and quick recipe to make, and the paneer adds a deep flavour to the curry.

    Ingredients for Tomato paneer curry

Tomatoes: The pleasant sweet-sour taste of tomatoes is mainly due to their sugar and organic acid content. Tomato flavor is sometimes also described as “classic tomato flavor” or “old-fashioned tomato flavor.” And the flavor of some tomatoes is described as mild or bland.

Cumin Seeds : Cumin has a warm, earthy flavor and aroma with a bit
of both sweetness and bitterness. The whole seeds need to be
toasted in order to reach the optimum flavor.

Peas : Fresh peas are sweet, plump, and taste like spring. Once they
are past their prime, they turn mealy and bland.

Paneer : Paneer is packed with healthy fats and milk proteins, making it an excellent source of nourishment for strong bones, teeth, and skin. Paneer has a soft, milky flavour and a rich crumbly texture that complements strong spice flavours wonderfully.

Hope you will give this a try and let me know how it turns out for you.
