I had a dream on my mind, when i was going through my old post, i came across my green capsicum chutney. Suddenly i wanted to try out red capsicum chutney and yellow capsicum chutney and post it in my blog. And immediately i did that too. Preparation Time : 2 mins
Cooking Time : 15 mins
Serves : 4
Ingredients:
Yellow Bell Pepper – 1 chopped
Onion – 1 peeled and chopped
Green Chilli – 2 to 3
Turmeric Powder / Manjal Podi – 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Sugar – 1/2 tsp
Tamarind Pulp – 1 tsp
Oil – 1 tblspn + 2 tblspn
Mustard Seeds / Kaduku – 1 tsp
Method:
Heat 1 tblspn of oil in a kadai. Add in onions, capsicum and saute them for 5 mins or so.
Add in salt, sugar, tamarind and turmeric. Keep cooking them for another 5 mins or so.
Now cool this a little and make it into a fine puree.
Heat 2 tblspn of oil in the same pan and crackle some mustard seeds.
Add in the pureed mix and cook till oil separates.
Enjoy with dosa.

Saute them for 5 mins or so |
Add in some turmeric powder |
and a little salt and sugar |
Saute them |
Add in tamarind |
and saute them for another 5 mins or so |
Take them in a blender |
Make it into a puree |
Heat some more oil in the same pan |
add in mustard seeds |
once the seeds pop, add in the puree |
cook them |
cook till oil separates from the sides |
