|Malabar Chicken Curry|
Red chilli powder-2 tsp
Garam masala powder-1 tsp
Turmeric powder-1 tsp
Coconut Milk-1 cup
Mustard seeds-1 tsp
Curry leaves-1 spring
Coriander leaves-for Garnishing
Coconut oil-2 tblspn
Ginger-1 inch piece
Cumin seeds(jeera)-1 tsp
Coriander seeds(malli)-1 tblspn
Grind the ingrediants given for masala list to a fine paste.Set this aside.
In a kadai add oil and heat it up..Crackle mustard seeds.Now add in the onions and mix well.Cook until brown.
Add in Green chilli and curry leaves and mix well.Add in turmeric,chilli and garam masala powder and mix well.
Add in the grinded masala and cook till oil separates.Add in tomato and cook until it is mushy.
Add in chicken and mix well...Cook for 5 min.Add in coconut milk and cook for 15 min.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.

|Heat oil,add mustard and cumin seeds..Add in onion,green chilli,curry leaves,spice powders and the ground masala and mix well...Add in tomatoes..|
|Now put in chicken pieces and coconut milk and cook..garnish with coriander leaves|
