Banana - Chocolate Chip Muffins Recipe

This muffin makes a great breakfast. It is moist and delicious and packed with nutrients. The banana in this makes it moist and delicious.

Baking Time: 25 to 35 mins
Makes: 12


All Purpose Flour / Maida - 1 1/2 cup (180 grams)
Sugar - 2/3 cup (130 gram)
Baking Powder - 1 1/2 tsp
Mashed Banana - 1 cup (about 2 large banana)
Egg - 1
Vanilla Essence - 1 tsp
Oil - 1/2 cup (120 ml)
Milk - 1/4 cup (60 ml)
Chocolate Chips - 3/4 cup

(My 1 cup measures 240 ml)


Preheat oven to 180 degree C. Line a muffin tray with cupcake cases and set aside.

Take banana, sugar,egg, oil, vanilla in a bowl and whisk well.

Now add in flour, baking powder and fold gently.

Add milk and chocolate chips and mix well.

Scoop this into paper lined muffin tray and sprinkle the top with some chocolate chips.

Bake for 25 to 35 mins untill a tooth pick inserted comes out clean.

Remove and cool a bit.

chocolate chips


fold gently

line a muffin tray with cupcake wrappers

fill with batter

top with chocolate chips

bake till done
