This is one drink which i made recently and i am in love with it. This is great for breakfast during hot summer days, since having hot ragi malt is impossible these days.

I made a chocolate version for me and this plain badam version for hubby. He loved it so much. You will never find ragi added in this drink unless mentioned. The ragi just act as a thickening agent and gives a nice creamy texture to the smoothie. I used badam milk mix powder in this, you can use normal powdered badam or any nuts as you like.

Cooking Time : 5 mins
Ragi Flour / Finger Millet Flour – 2 to 3 tblspn
Water – 1/2 cup
Badam Milk Powder or Almond Powder – 2 tblspn
Cold Milk – 2 cups
Sugar to taste
Take ragi flour in a sauce pan, add in water and mix well so no lumps is formed. Now cook this on low heat till it thickens.
Take it off the heat and cool this mixture.
Take it in a blender, add in sugar, badam milk powder and milk and blend till creamy.
Pour into glass and chill before serving.
