I used fresh orange segments, milk and lots of ice in this, adding juice doesn’t make this creamy, you have add fresh orange segments..Love the little pulp of oranges coming through your mouth when u drink it..
And my secret touch is the addition of whipping cream powder, if you have that add it or leave it out..It makes it more tasty and frothy..

Hope you will give this a try and let me know how it turns out for you..

Preparation Time : 10 mins
Serves : 3

Ingredients:
Oranges – 2
Cold Milk – 1 cup
Icecubes lots of them
Icing Sugar – 2 to 3 tblspn or to taste
Whipping Cream Powder – 2 tsp (optional)
Method:
Take oranges and peel them and segment them. Add it to blender with remaining ingredients and puree till smooth and frothy.
Pour into glasses and serve immediately.
Pictorial:
Take couple of oranges

use a serrated knife like this

cut the top off

now cut the bottom off too

Place it on the board like this

now slice it like this

benting the knife as you go

repeat this and slice off the skin

like this

go on

now you see there are some flesh in the skin..i dont like to waste anything..

so squeeze those into a blender

now take your naked orange

go through the natural markings

this way you will get perfect segments

add everything in a blender

i squeeze the juice from the leftover oranges too

add in icing sugar

lots of icecubes

some cold cold milk
now comes the interesting part..this step is optional.if you have some whipping cream powder add a tblspn of that in

time to blend

the addition of the whipping cream powder make this so frothy

pour into glasses

garnish with a slice of orange

serve cold

Hi..i have a query..while you put the whole orange in there do you not remove the seeds considering they have the ability to ruin a perfectly nice smoothie by making it bitter?
Just curious before trying..hope you'll answer the question..thanks
