Kesari is one of the staple dish in our home. Amma makes it often for any special occasion, since it is easy and fast to make. This is a apple flaovured one and it taste ever so delicious. You can try this version for this diwali or any special day. It taste amazing.

How to Make Apple Kesari
- Heat ¼ cup ghee in a pan, add cashews and raisins and fry till golden. Drain and set aside.
- In the same ghee add in sooji and roast for 2 to 3 mins.
- Pour in water and mix well. Cook till it thickens.
- Add in sugar and apple puree and mix well. Cook till it thickens.
- Now add in ghee and mix well.
- Add in food colour and cardamom powder and mix well.
- Add in fried nuts and mix well.
- Serve.

Ingredients
- Rava / Sooji - ½ cup
- Water - 11/2 cup
- Apples - 1 peeled and pureed
- Sugar - 1 cup
- Ghee - ⅓ cup
- Cashews - 2 tblsp
- Raisins - 2 tblsp
- Cardamom Powder - ½ tsp
- Food Colour few drops
Instructions
