Broccoli Pepper Fry
This is one of the easiest poriyal or stir fry you could make for any of your gravy dishes. It taste superb and goes pretty much with anything, specially rasam rice, sambar rice or curd rice..
Ingredients for Broccoli Pepper Fry
- Broccoli - 1 medium size cut into florets
- Salt - ½ tsp
- Turmeric Powder / Manjal Podi - ½ tsp
For Fry:
- Oil - 1 tbsp
- Garlic - 5 cloves chopped finely
- Curry leaves a small handful
- Green Chilli - 2 sliced at an angle
- Onion - 1 medium size sliced thinly
- Freshly Ground Black Pepper - 1 teaspoon or to taste
- Turmeric Powder / Manjal Podi - ½ tsp
- Salt to taste
How to Make Broccoli Pepper Fry
- Bring lots of water to a good boil, add in salt and turmeric powder. Add in broccoli in and cook for 4 to 5 mins till the broccoli is done. Drain and set aside.
- Heat oil in a pan. Add in garlic, chillies, curry leaves and onions. Saute till light golden.
- Add in salt and turmeric powder.
- Toss in the broccoli. Saute till it gets brown.
- Now add in pepper and toss well.
- Serve.

Broccoli Pepper Fry Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 medium size cut into florets Broccoli
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoon Turmeric Powder / Manjal Podi
- For Fry:
- 1 tablespoon Oil
- 5 cloves Garlic chopped finely
- Curry leaves a small handful
- 2 sliced at an angle Green Chilli
- 1 medium size sliced thinly Onion
