    Broccoli Tofu Sabzi Recipe with step by step pictures. This is made with Broccoli and Tofu. It can be served with rice or roti.

    Broccoli Tofu Sabzi

     

    Sabzi's make a great side dish for rice or roti. I make different combination of them very often. My favourite sabzi is made with broccoli and tofu.

    The final addition of kasuri methi gives a nice taste to it. The key in this sabzi is not to over cook anything, you want the broccoli to be cooked but firm and holds it shape.

    Ingredients for Broccoli Tofu Sabzi

    • Broccoli - 2 cups cut into florets
    • Tofu - 1 cup cubed
    • Oil - 1 tbsp
    • Cumin Seeds / Jeerakam - 1 tsp
    • Onion - 1 medium size chopped
    • Ginger Garlic paste - 2 tsp
    • Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
    • Turmeric Powder - ½ tsp
    • Garam Masala Powder - 1 tsp
    • Dry Fenugreek Leaves / Kasuri Methi Leaves - 1 tbsp
    • Lemon Juice to taste
    • Salt to taste

    How to make Broccoli Tofu Sabzi

    1. Heat oil in a pan , add in cumin seeds and let it crackle.
    2. Add onions and cook till golden, add ginger garlic paste and mix well.
    3. Add in spice powder and mix well.
    4. Add in broccoli and toss well.
    5. Add water and tofu and cook till it is dried up and done. Add salt to taste.
    6. Add in kasuri methi and lemon juice. Mix well.
    7. Serve
