    Fruit Bread Ingredients

Egg - This recipe uses eggs, you can skip it and add more of butter and milk to make the dough more tender and soft.

Sugar - This is purely to sweeten the dough, but I like to add more confectioners sugar once the bread is baked.

Milk - Use luke warm milk to make soft and smooth dough. Luke warm milk helps activate the yeast as well.

Yeast - dry yeast is added to make the bread more soft and tender. It helps with the rising of dough.

Dried Fruits - I used a mixture of raisans, sultanas, currants, dates, candied peels, prunes & mixed dried fruits like strawberries, kiwi, ginger, pineapple & cherries

Spices - You can use any mixed spice. I used cinnamon, you can play around with holiday spices.
