    Chocolate Beetroot Cake Recipe

Carrot cakes are my absolute favorite ones, I have a normal carrot cake and a richly frosted american version of it in this blog. If carrot cake taste this delicious, how will a beetroot cake taste like. Specially when it is combined with some chocolate. This was the question that was sitting in my mind for ages. I thought to give it a try and this was the result, it was fudgy, chocolaty and tasted so healthy. This version is so simple, you don't need butter or eggs in it. I hope you will love this and let me know if you try this someday.

    Ingredients for Chocolate Beetroot Cake

    • All Purpose Flour / Maida - 1 ¼ cup / 150 grams
    • Sugar - 1 cup / 200 grams
    • Oil - ½ cup / 120 ml / 4 fluid ounces
    • Curd / Yogurt - 1 cup / 250 ml
    • Baking powder - 1 tsp
    • Baking soda - ½ tsp
    • Cocoa Powder - ½ cup / 60 grams
    • Beetroot - 1 large grated / 1.5 cups
