M&M Cookies Recipe – Soft M&M Cookies Recipe

One of my family friend got me a packet of m&m’s, and i enjoyed few of them and reserved some to make this cookies. . I made this today and it was delicious. So good to resist.

This cookies is soft and chewy. And kids will love it for sure, since they are very colourful. I am planning to bake a m&m cookie bar recipe, will soon share it..

Preparation Time : 10 mins
Baking Time : 10 mins
Makes : 10 to 12 cookies

Ingredients:

Unsalted Butter  – 1/2 cup / 113 grams
Brown Sugar – 1/2 cup packed / 100 grams
Granulated White Sugar – 1/4 cup / 50 grams
Vanilla Essence – 1 tsp
All Purpose Flour / Maida – 1 1/4 cup / 150 grams
Baking Soda / Cooking Soda – 1/2 tsp
Salt – 1/4 tsp
Egg – 1
M&M’s – 1 1/4 cup


(My 1 cup measures 240 ml)

Method:

Preheat oven to 180 degree C. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.

Mix butter, brown sugar, white sugar, egg, vanilla in a bowl. Mix well till creamy.

Add in baking soda and salt and mix well. Add in flour and mix well.

Now add 1 cup of the m&m’s and fold into the batter. Reserve some for topping.

Use a icecream scoop to scoop out the batter and place it in the tray, top with m&m’s.

Pop it in the oven and bake for 8 to 10 mins till the cookies are almost done.

Remove it and let it cool down for 10 mins in the pan.

Now remove this and cool it in a cooling rack.

Serve immediately or store in a air tight cookie jar.

add m&m’s
mix well
line a baking tray with parchment paper
use a icecream scoop to scoop out the dough
place it in the tray. leave space between them, they will spread a lot
take some m&m’s
top the dough with it
time to bake
now it is done
serve

    Hi aarthi can you please help me how we can preheat my microwave….it has covection and grill mode also…Bt I dnt know exactly how I can preheat it…please guide me the option or switch or button of it
