Most homemade yogurt (from powdered milk) recipes that I've read say to heat to boiling point then cool to approx 110 F then add yogurt starter. I've yet to try a powdered milk recipe as I want to use this method. Your recipe says heat until luke warm. What's the difference? also does it matter if the milk powder is instant or not?

Hello, I made this yogurt for the first time with your recipe. Left it for over 12 hours and it just came out liquid. I have made powdered milk yogurt before but with a different method and it turned out great. What can I do with this liquid or is it "down the sink"? This looked so much easier than the previous method I used and it was a fail. Help.

There might be many reason for the cause.
1)It might be because of the milk powder you use.
2)the milk is not at the right temperature.
        3)More starter might be needed.
4)It might need more time to set because the climate might be too cold.
