    Butter Cake | Butter Cake Recipe

    Soft and moist butter cake which is rich in butter and eggs. The cake is so moist and you can taste butter flavour in the cake. Cake made with butter, eggs and flour mixture which creates a melt in mouth cake texture like moist orange pudding cake.

    Butter Cake Recipe

    Butter cake is one of my favourite. Not only it is easy to make, but it taste amazing. I wanted to share a recipe post for this amazing cake with better pictures. I made mild variation in this cake and still it turned out perfect.

    Let's talk a little about this cake. I love baking cakes than eating it. But this is one is an exception. I finished the whole batch all by myself. Believe it or not, I totally loved the texture and taste of this cake. They turned out so moist and so buttery and so rich and a rich yellow colour which was perfect. I enjoyed each mouthful of this cake.
     
    I should tell you this is one of yummy cake i have ever tasted in my life. This can be served as  a desert as well. Pour some chocolate syrup over this cake and enjoy it all by yourself.
     

    This cake is not only buttery but is so moist and aromatic. Taste delicious with a cup of chai or milk.

    How to Make Butter Cake

    • Preheat oven to 180 degree C. Line a loaf pan with parchment paper and set aside,
    • Now take flour, baking powder and salt in a sieve and sift it together. Set aside.
    • Take butter, sugar, vanilla in a bowl and use a beater to whip it till fluffy.
    • Add in eggs and mix well.
    • Now add in half of the flour and fold gently. Add buttermilk or milk and mix well.
    • Add remaining flour and fold gently.,
    • Spoon this into the pan and bake for 30 to 35 mins.
    • Now remove it and cool it down. Remove it from pan and cool completely.
    • Now slice and serve.

    Butter Cake | Utterly Butterly Butter Cake Recipe

    Rich and melt in mouth butter cake has extra butter and intense butter flavour which taste amazing and is just perfect.

    Ingredients

    • All Purpose Flour / Maida - 100 grams
    • Baking Powder - 1 tsp
    • Sugar - ½ cup / 100 grams
    • Salt a pinch
    • Unsalted Butter - 125 grams
    • Eggs - 2
    • Milk - 2 tbspn
    • Vanilla Essence - 2 tsp

    Instructions

    Butter cake with step by step pictures

    take flour in a sieve
    add baking powder
     
     
    salt
    sieve well
    take butter
     
     
    add sugar
    vanilla
    mix well
     
     
    add eggs
    whip till creamy
    add half of the flour mix
    mix gently
     
     
    milk
    add remaining flour
    mix well
    fold gently
    Spoon it into the pan
    Bake till done
    cool down, slice and serve

        For scaling up, time would remain same? With double the ingredients...

          Baking time depends on the size of pan you use. If you use shallow pan. Then the baking time would remain same. If pan is deeper then it will take time to bake.
