    Nutella Cupcakes Recipe

Can you think about making a cupcakes with just 3 ingredients..an you guess it..This is the question which i raised in my facebook page. I got random answers from my viewers, one of my viewer replied that it has mayonnaise it. I was so surprised to hear that. Because i never thought that you could add mayo in a cupcake. But i realised that it is true when i came across this recipe which was immediately marked in my to do list.

    About Nutella Cupcakes Recipe

A cupcake is a small cake that can be baked in a small thin paper or aluminium cup. Frosting and other cake decorations, such as fruit and candy, may be used, as with larger cakes.

They are nothing but Nutella, Self Raising Flour and an Egg. I could never imagine a cupcake with just these ingredients, but it really works. These are just so amazing and came out perfect.

I made it into mini cupcake, those cupcakes turned out too cute, you just want to pop few in your mouth immediately. But you can make into regular cupcakes, but they will take a little more time to bake, say 15 to 18 mins..They will be just as perfect.

    Ingredients for Nutella Cupcakes

    Nutella:
Nutella is high in fibre, which aids in cholesterol management. It lowers the chances of developing heart disease. Calcium in Nutella helps to strengthen your bones and teeth. The iron in Nutella helps your body produce red blood cells and protects your immune system.

    Self Raising Flour :
Self-rising flour contains baking powder and a small amount of salt. It's a common ingredient in many Southern recipes, and its traditionally made from a softer, lower protein version of all-purpose flour, which grows in the area.

    Egg :

The primary function of eggs in a cake batter is to provide structure in the form of proteins from both the yolk and the white. As the cake bakes, the protein coagulates and, along with the starch from the flour, forms the cake crumb.

    Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

    What are Mini cupcakes?

Mini cupcakes are adorable bite-sized versions of regular cupcakes. The top of the cake is around 1 ¼ inches in diameter with a base diameter of ¾ inch. A mini cupcake is about 1 ¼ inches tall.

What is the difference between a muffin and a cupcake?

Cupcakes are lighter and fluffier than muffins. While cupcake batters are soft and smooth, muffin batters are thicker and denser, similar to bread batters.

    What were cupcakes originally called?

Cupcakes were once known as "Number Cakes" or "1234 Cakes." This was due to the fact that recipes back then consisted of only 1 cup of butter, 2 cups of sugar, 3 cups of flour, 4 eggs, 1 cup of milk, and 1 teaspoon of baking soda.

    Who first made cupcakes?

The cupcake was invented by Amelia Simmons. And, as if that wasn't enough for the history books, when she first published her cookbook in 1796, she established herself as the author of the first American cookbook.

I never though Nutella can be used as an easy topping. Also it gives a "yummy" look to the cup cakes.
