    Ingredients

    • Whipping cream/ Fresh cream: This gives the creamy base to the dessert. This gives the strawberry fool light and airy texture.
    • Strawberries: This is the star ingredients of the recipe. It brings fresh , fruity and natural sweet flavour to the dessert.
    • Sugar: It sweetens the strawberry and helps them to release their juices. Which enhance the overall taste 
    • Lemon juice: This adds a hint of tanginess to the dessert. That balances the sweetness and brightens the flavour of the dessert.

    Step by Step Pictures

    1)Take strawberries and chop them very finely.

    2)Take the berries in a bowl. Sprinkle in sugar, instead of sugar you can also use honey or maple syrup.

    3)Add a touch of lemon juice. This brings out the sweetness from berries while making it refreshing.

    4)Mix it really well and set aside for at least 30 minutes.

    5)After 30 minutes you can see the strawberries has given lots of its berry juices.

    6)take whipping cream in a bowl. Use an electric beater to whip this till soft peaks forms.

    7)Now cream is whipped up.

    8)Add most of the marinated strawberries while leaving some for garnish.

    9)Fold this gently.

    10)take your serving glasses and fill with the cream. Drizzle the syrup over the cream.

    11)Pop this into the fridge and let it set for few hours.

    12)serve cold.

    13)Enjoy this creamy strawberry fool and you will love it.


    Expert Tips

    - Chill your bowl and whisk. Keep them in the fridge for 10-15 mins before whipping cream for faster and fluffier results.

    -Use ripe and sweet strawberries. They give the best flavour and natural sweetness to the dessert.

    -Don't over whip the cream. Stop the whipping when it reaches soft peaks to keep the dessert light and airy.

    -For a strong flavour, lightly mash part of the fruit before mixing. 

    -Add a garnish to the dessert. A mint sprig, extra strawberry slices or dusting of icing sugar makes the dessert look more appealing.

    Can I use frozen strawberries?

    Yes. But thaw them completely and drain the excess liquid before using.

    Can I make it ahead of time?

    Yes you can prepare a few hours in advance and keep it chilled until serving.

    Can I replace sugar with honey or other sweeteners?

    Yes honey, maple syrup or stevia can be used as a sweetener. But adjust the quantity to taste.

    How long does it last in the fridge?

    It is beast eaten within 24 hours for the freshest taste and texture.

    Can I add other fruits?

    Yes you can mix raspberries,mango, blueberries or peaches for variety

    Ingredients
      

    • ½ cup Whipping Cream (Heavy Cream)

    For Strawberry Mixture

    • 15 no Strawberries chopped finely
    • ¼ cup Sugar
    • 1 teaspoon Lemon Juice

    Instructions
     

    • Take chopped strawberries in a bowl, sprinkle sugar and lemon juice. Mix well. leave it to marinate for 30 mins. Now the strawberries must have leached out lots of its juices.
    • Whip up cream till it is thick using an electric beater. Spoon most of the strawberry mix into the cream. fold gently.
    • Scoop into the serving glasses, spoon some of the reserved berry juices over it. Chill this in fridge for one hour. Serve cold.

    Notes

    • Use fresh strawberries for the best flavour and colour.
    • For a richer taste choose full fat cream instead of low fat one.
    • Fold the strawberries gently into the cream to keep the texture light and airy.
    • Prepare the dessert a few hours in advance to let the flavour blend naturally.
    • If using frozen strawberries thaw them completely and drain excess liquid before mixing.
    • Serve immediately after chilling to enjoy the freshest taste and texture.

      Hi Aarthi this recipe is delicious but just one thing i don't have an electric beater. I have hand blender n mixer grinder which one should i use.
