Whole Wheat Pita Bread Recipe with step by step pictures. This is made with Wheat Flour ,Sugar and Yeast. Lebanese pita bread is easy to make and taste delicious.

    Whole Wheat Pita Bread

I love pita bread..They are so easy to make, but can be had with pretty much anything. I already have a pita bread recipe made in oven, this one is my second version made in tawa, i love this version more than that. Because it can be made in minutes. So you don't have to wait for so many minutes near hot oven.

The cool thing about this pita bread is it has puffs up when it is in oven or tawa and when it cools it gets a nice pocket in which you can stuff meat or anything in them. The famous pita stuffing is this falafil.

I made this pita bread using wheat flour and it turned out so good. Plus it is so healthy. You can make a huge batch of this and freeze them by placing wax paper or parchment paper in between them and you can warm it up in oven or microwave when you need them.

I stuffed this pita bread with this spinach egg scramble and it is delicious. You can stuff it with some sliced up veggies and drizzle some tahini sauce or hummus over them. It taste divine. Or you can spread it with some garlic mayo and stuff it with grilled chicken slices, YUM YUM.
