Poha Fruit Salad Recipe - Aval Salad Recipe

Poha is a healthy ingredient and it taste really delicious. This is a poha fruit salad which i made for navrathri and it was yummy. It is healthy and easy to make as well. Hope you will like it and let me know how it turns out for you.

Preparation Time : 10 mins
Serves: 4


Poha / Aval- 2 cups ( i used red rice poha)
Water - 1/2 cup
Jaggery - 1/2 cup
Apples - 1 chopped finely
Pomegranate - 1 cup
Cardamom Powder - 1/2 tsp
Cherries - 2 tblspn chopped finely
Coconut - 1/2 cup grated


Take jaggery and water and mix well.

Take poha in a bowl, strain the jaggery water and mix well. Set side for 10 mins. If it is not softened, sprinkle more water and set aside.

Now add in all ingredients and mix well.

Serve cold.

mix till it is dissolved

take poha in a bowl
now strain the jaggery water

mix well..add more water if it is not softened

add cardamom powder

add pomegranate

add apples and cherries

add coconut if you like
