    About Sprouts Fruit Salad Recipe

Sprouts are high in nutrients. They may also provide a number of health benefits, such as improved blood sugar levels and a lower risk of heart disease. The combination of sprouted moong and fruits is unique and delicious. It can be served for breakfast as well as lunch or dinner. This salad is high in protein and fibre and should be on your salad recipe list.

The sweetness of mangoes, apples and a little tart from pomegranate along with some sugar, salt and  pepper really makes it. The cool thing is, you can keep the salad in the fridge and eat it the next day too. It still taste great.

    Moong Sprouts

Mung bean sprouts have a mild, clean, vegetal flavour that will not overpower the dish. They are prone to absorbing the flavours that surround them. The sprouts primarily add a crunchy, juicy element.

    Ripe Sweet Mango :

The ripe flesh of the mango is soft and juicy, pale orange in colour, and has a texture that ranges from fibrous to almost butter-like. The flesh tastes fresh and sweet, and it has a pleasant aroma.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    What is a Sprouting?

Sprouting is the natural process by which seeds or spores germinate and produce shoots, and existing plants produce new leaves or buds, or other structures grow.

What is the best way to eat sprouts?

Many people consume raw sprouts daily and yet have never faced any trouble. However, for your safety, put some oil in the pan and saute the sprouts for a while to kill the bacteria or can either boil in salt water for 5-10 minutes. Cooking them is even better for your digestive system and the absorption of nutrients.

When did people start eating sprouts?

Sprouts have a long history of use in Chinese medicine, where physicians prescribed them for the treatment of many disorders due to their nutritional and medicinal properties. Finally, the Western world has caught up.
