    Preparation Time : 10 mins
    Baking Time : 20 to 25 mins
    Makes: 7 mufifns
    Recipe Source : Sharmis passions

    Ingredients:

    All Purpose Flour / Maida - 1 ½ cup / 180 grams
    Sugar - ¾ cup / 150 grams
    Cooking Oil - ½ cup / 120 ml
    Vanilla Essence - 2 tsp
    Plain Yogurt / Thick Curd -  1 cup / 240 ml
Baking Soda / Cooking Soda -  ½ tsp
    Baking Powder - 1 ¼ tsp
Tutti Fruity - ⅓ cup ( you can add chocolate chips or nuts)
    Salt a pinch
All purpose flour / Maida - 1 tsp ( for tossing over tutti fruity)
Milk - ¼ cup or as needed to thin the batter

(My 1 cup measures 240 ml)

    Method:

Preheat oven to 180 degree C. Line a muffin tray with cupcake wrappers and set aside.

Take maida, salt in a sifter and sieve well. Set aside.

Take tuti fruity in a bowl and sprinkle a tsp of flour in and mix well. Set aside

Take sugar, oil and vanilla in a bowl and mix well. Set aside.

Take yogurt, baking soda and baking powder in a bowl and mix well. It will get foamy.

Add sugar mix in and mix well. Add in flour and mix well.

Add little milk to thin the batter.

Finally fold in the tutti fruity and mix well.

Use a icecream scoop to scoop the batter and fill the muffin tray. Bake for 20 to 25 mins, insert a toothpick to check whether it is cooked or not.

Remove from oven and let it cool completely.

    Serve warm.

@Anonymousif u use wheat flour, the muffins may turn little denser. But still it will taste good. You can use half maida and half wheat

I tried the recipe. It came out neatly with a little raising. But when cooled the middle portion went down. Why?
