Check out my other health powders too and porridge recipe too..

These powders are great to have handy when travelling, since they require no cooking you can just add some milk or water and feed your baby. I am sure you will be feeling so happy when you feed your baby with these instead of the packaged stuffs. I will try to share many more recipes similar to this for you. So give this a try and let me know how it turns out for you..

Preparation Time : 10 mins
Baking Time : 20 mins
Makes: 2 cups of powder

Ingredients:

Wheat Flour – 1 cup
Almond Powder – 3 tblspn ( i used homemade badam milk mix)
Rock Sugar or Panakarkandu – 1/2 cup
Ghee or Melted Butter – 1/4 cup
Milk or Water – 2 tblspn

Method:

Preheat oven to 180 degree C.

Take all ingredients in a bowl and knead to a dough. Add milk if needed.

Now roll this between two sheets of plastic wrap.

Trim of the egdes and cut into squares.

Remove it carefully using a spatula and place on a foil lined baking sheet.

Bake it for 15 to 18 mins till golden. It will be soft when you take from oven, it will harden as it cools down.

Let it cool completely.

Now take this in a blender and powder finely.

Now for making cereal, take some powder in a bowl and add hot milk or water and mix till it reaches right texture.

Feed your baby.

Notes:

1)This powder can be stored in room temp. But for safety purpose store it in fridge.
2)You can take this while travelling.
3)Instead of hot water or milk. You can use warm or cold water or milk.
4)Start with little water or milk and add more as per the consistency needed,
5)Instead of making powder, this can be given as biscuits too.
6)If making for babies under 7 months, skip the badam powder.

This is a instant, No cook cerelac for baby. You can prepare this cereal few different ways.

1)You can add warm water or milk to make this cereal.

2)You can use normal water or milk to make this cereal, in which case the texture will be little coarse.

3)You can add boiling water or milk to make this cereal, in which case the texture will be so smooth.

4)You can add some powdered jaggery or sugar to this, add some ghee and make ladoo.

5)For making soft cooked balls. Take this powder in a sauce pan, add some milk and mix. Add more sugar or jaggery as needed, add little ghee and cook this on low heat till it comes as a ball. Take small portion from this and shape into balls.
