    Homemade Ceralac

My rice ceralac post was a huge success. And everyone was asking me to share more instant cereal recipe. Few days back when i was talking to sharmi from sharmispassion. She mentioned about this recipe and it inspired me to try it immediately. And my quest didn't stop right there too, i made a ragi version of this as well. Will soon share it. Again thanks sharmi for the inspiration, you are the best!

    About this Recipe

Cerelac is a Nestlé brand of instant cereal. When breast milk is no longer the sole item in an infants diet, the cereal is promoted for infants 6 months and older as a supplement to it.

This is my homemade version made using a handful of ingredients which is easy to make and taste absolutely delicious.

    Is Cerelac good for baby?

Cerelac is without a doubt the first choice for all doting mothers who want to give their lolos the best. It contains cereals, which are high in all essential nutrients for your babys proper growth and development. Cerelac is a complete meal that contains no chemicals
    or preservatives.

Wheat is one of the oldest domesticated grains and a major cereal crop. Wheat is now used to make meal, breakfast cereals, and flour for bakery products. It can be grown in a variety of soils but thrives in temperate climates.

These powders are great to have handy when travelling, since they require no cooking you can just add some milk or water and feed your baby. I am sure you will be feeling so happy when you feed your baby with these instead of the packaged stuffs. I will try to share many more recipes similar to this for you. So give this a try and let me know how it turns out for you.

    Ingredients for Homemade Ceralac

    • Wheat Flour - 1 cup
    • Almond Powder - 3 tblspn ( i used homemade badam milk mix)
    • Rock Sugar or Panakarkandu - ½ cup
    • Ghee or Melted Butter - ¼ cup
    • Milk or Water - 2 tblspn

Ingredients for Instant Wheat Ceralac For Babies :

    Wheat Flour :
Wheat flour adds more nutrition to baked goods and other flour- based recipes, as well as a nutty and tasty flavour. However, when compared to a more refined all-purpose flour, this flour can sometimes make the finished product appear drier and produce a coarser texture.

    Almond Powder :

Almond flour is finely ground almonds that are usually made with blanched almonds that have no skins. It is commonly used in baked goods such as cookies, cakes, and quick breads, and perhaps most notably in macarons.
