Hi aarthi
I want to ask 1 thing in summer their is any prob in these cookies like little harder in bight... Last tym in winter i tried ur receipe its so prefect in test and also crispy. But today i found its little hard in bight... So plz replyyyyyy
Jenni
I haven’t tested it, but I would guess that’s because the butter melted before getting into the oven. Try to use cold butter and maybe refrigerate between steps.

Thank you very much for the recipe. The biscuits tasted just like the store bought ones that my mother-in-law asked me why they were warm - she didn't expect that they were homemade ☺️
I measured using weight, but when I made the dough, I felt it was a bit dry and added a spot of milk and some ghee. Was that the right thing to do? If I want it a little more crumbly and a little less sweet, can I increase butter and reduce sugar? Do you think that will work?

Tried this recipe and my kids loved it. Can I add cocoa powder to my dough to make the chocolate version? Thank you so much
Aarthi
yes u can. remove a tblsp of flour and add a tblsp of cocoa

I found the quantity of milk is not enough and it was too difficult to add extra in once I had mixed it into the flour. If you are going to make this, you definitely need to use more milk or butter for a better dough to work with.

Hi Aarthi,
Love your blog! One question though, can I use wheat flour instead of Maida using the same measurements? I'm making it for my one year old and we don't eat maida at home.

Dear Aarthi!
I would like to bake some of these for my niece. She loves marie biscuits and we can't get any as we are in a containment zone. All I have is ghee. Can I somehow replace it for butter?
Ruchikka
Hi ! What do you suggest if I were to replace apf, is wheat flour a better choice or oats flour ?
