Mixed Vegetable Wrap Recipe – Veggie Wrap Recipe – Kids Lunch Box Ideas 1

Starting a lunch box series has been on my plan for a long time. I thought i would start this once maha starts her school, but i got lots and lots of request from my viewers to share lunch box ideas. So i decided to start the series before plan.

So i went shopping yesterday and picked few lunch boxes for the shoot. Immediately i got into action and made two lunch boxes. This is the first one and will be sharing the other one tomorrow..Keep checking my blog, because there is lot more coming up..
Hope you will give this a try and let me know how it turns out for you..
Preparation Time : 5 mins
Cooking Time : 15 mins


Ingredients:

Roti – 2
Oil – 2 tsp
Cumin Seeds / Jeerakam – 1/2 tsp
Spring Onion – 1 chopped finely
Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 tsp
Mixed Veggies – 1.5 cups sliced thinly
Chilli Powder – 1/2 tsp
Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp
Garam Masala Powder – 1/2 tsp
Tomato Ketchup – 3 to 4 tblspn
Salt to taste

Method:

Heat oil in a pan, crackle in some cumin seeds.

Add in spring onion and saute for a min. Add in ginger garlic paste and cook for a min.

Add in veggies and toss well. Cook this for 5 to 6 mins. Add in spice powders and ketchup. Mix well.

Now the filling is done. Now take your roti, spoon some filling in and roll it, secure it with a foil.

Place it in lunch box and pack with fruits of your choice.

    Hi Aarthi.. I'm a regular reader of all ur posts. I have tried so many of ur recipes and that turn out to be super hit every time at home. U are always my Guru when it comes to cooking and baking!! Btw, I notice d orange pan in all ur posts. May I know what brand is it?
