I know I know…All tikka’s are made in oven..But this one is for you all those who don’t have a oven in house..Yes you can make it in tawa within 20 mins..
The flavours in this recipe develop only during marination,So I recommend you to mainate this over night…
This paneer tikka is best served hot..So as soon you finish making this, just dig in straightaway…You have a excuse to be greedy..

So with no more delay,I am delivering you the step by step recipe for this dish..
Ingrediants:
Paneer-1 packet cubed
Bell Pepper / Capsicum-1 cubed
Tomato-2 deseeded and cubed
Onion-1 cubed
Oil-2 tblspn
For Marinate:
Curd-1 cup
Coriander powder / Malli podi-1 tblspn
Pepper-1 tsp
Red chilli powder-1 tsp
Cumin powder / Jeera podi-1 tsp
Garam masala powder-2 tsp
Turmeric powder / Manjal podi-1 tsp
Ginger Garlic paste-1 tblspn
Chat masala powder-1 tblspn
Lemon juice-2 tblspn
Red food colouring-a pinch
Salt to taste
Method:
Mix marinate ingrediants together to a smooth paste..
Add in chopped vegetables and paneer cubes in this and marinate for 5-6 hours in fridge (over night is best).
Take this out of the fridge before 30 mins of preparation so that it comes to room temperature..
Now heat 1 tblspn of oil in a nonstick pan and arrange the paneer and vegetables in a single layer..
Cook on both sides for 4-5 mins till everything is cooked..
Remove this to a plate..
Serve it as it is or skewer it alternatively in a tooth pick and serve..
Taste best when served hot..
Pictorial:
Take all your ingrediants
Prepare your veggies
Cube your paneer
Cut your onions like this
And your capsicum like this
Deseed and cube your tomatoes
Beat curd well
add everything in
mix well
add all your veggies and panner
mix well and marinate in fridge
Cook this in tawa
on both sides
Cook till golden on all sides
remove it and set aside
You could even skewer it
Done..
Does this plate looks inviting

Love the idea of cooking them in tawa instead of grilling or tandoor.

@Anonymousit may be because of over cooking or because of the paneer
