How to Make Pepper Brinjal Masala
- Heat oil in a kadai, add in mustard, cumin and let it sizzle.
- Now add in onions, green chillies and mix well.
- Add ginger garlic paste and turmeric powder and mix well.
- Pour in tomatoes and cook till mushy.
- Add in water and spice powders and mix well.
- Add salt and mix well.
- Brinjal goes in and cook covered till it is done.
- Now add in pepper and toss well.
- Serve.

Ingredients
- Oil - 3 tblspn
- Mustard Seeds / Kaduku- 1 tsp
- Cumin Seeds / Jeerakam - 1 tsp
- Onion - 1 large chopped finely
- Green Chillies - 2 slit
- Ginger Garlic paste - 1 tsp
- Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
- Tomatoes - 2 chopped finely
- Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
- Coriander Powder - 1 tblspn
- Brinjal - 3 cubed
- Water as needed
- Salt to taste
- Black Pepper Powder - 1 tsp or to taste
