Soups makes a healthy and light meal for your babies. Baby soups can be served for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Adding dals, vegetables and spinach when making soup for babies is wholesome. Learn how to make healthy soup recipes for babies.

    Soup Recipes for Babies

I have started giving soups to my baby, she is loving it. My regular soup of choice is dal soup and vegetable soup. I have started giving milk to my baby since she has started her 12th month. I add little cow's milk in her baby foods, added some in her soups too. Specially this veg soup taste so good when you add some milk. But if your baby is less than 1 year. You can simply leave it out.

Can we give soup for babies?

Soups are such a healthy way to include veggies and dals and whatever you want to give to your baby. Since it is in liquid form, your baby will love to have it. I have recently started giving soups to maha.

I tried giving clear soups to her few months back, but she didn't like it. She loves her soup when it is a little thick and creamy. So i add dals or potatoes whenever i make soup for her. If your baby has started their one year, then you can add milk in her soups.

    Instant Soup Powder for Babies

Healthy and protein rich masoor dal soup powder for babies. This is best way to feed dal to your baby in a instant and takes less than 5 mins to make.

Dal soups are very healthy for babies. But it is time consuming to cook dal in pressure cooker then puree it. So many pots and pans to wash. So I made this instant soup powder which comes handy. Also it can be mixed with cooked rice and ghee which makes a great lunch for babies.

3)In the same pan dry roast cumin seeds, asafoetida and turmeric powder.

4)Take dal and cumin mix in a blender and powder fine.

    5)Dal soup powder is ready.

5)Take a spoonful of the powder in a sauce pan.
