Preparation Time : 10 mins
Setting Time : 2 to 4 hours

Ingredients:

Dark Chocolate – 500 grams / 1/2 kg

Unsalted Butter – 125 grams
Milk – 3/4 cup / 180 ml

Method:

Take milk and butter in a sauce pan and heat it up..

Bring this to a boil so that the butter melts..

Once the butter is melted switch off the flame and add in chocolate chips..

Leave this aside for 3-4 mins..Now using a whisk mix this slowly so that the chocolate melts..

When everything is mixed smoothly.. Let the mix cool down.

Use as desired.

Pictorial:
You will need chocolate, butter and milk
Chop chocolate in a bow

Take milk in sauce pan

add in butter

melt it down

once the butter is melted

bring the milk to a boil

now pour this over the chocolate

pour all the mix over the chocolate

make sure the chocolate is well immersed

leave this undisturbed for 5 mins

now use a whisk to mix

@ziya nikeAdd very little hot milk to it and mix it up. It will get creamy and spreadable. Butter is not necessary.

Hi Arathi, I used home-made butter, and the milk curdled a bit after heating the two together. But when I added it to the chocolate, it doesnt smell or taste different. So, is it okay to use this ganache or should I prepare a fresh one? I would really appreciate your early response.. Making this for this evening. TIA.
