This is my little ones favourite. I make this often as her snack and she loves it. I thought of sharing it with you because many of you have been asking me the recipe when i shared it in my instagram, BTW if you are not following me on instagram, i think you have to follow..Each time i change the veggies in this, i make this using cabbage, carrots, zucchini as well. Will share all the version soon..

Healthy Biscuits for babies
Preparation Time : 10 mins
Cooking Time : 10 mins
Makes : 8 to 10 dumplings
Ghee – 2 tsp
Spinach – 2 cups chopped finely
Gram Flour / Besan / Kadalai Mavu – 1/2 cup
Wheat Flour / Atta – 1/4 cup
Turmeric Powder / Manjal Podi – 1/2 tsp
Chilli Powder – 1/4 tsp
Salt to taste
Sugar – 1/2 tsp to 1 tsp
Cumin Seeds ./ Jeerakam – 1 tsp
Water – 2 to 3 tblspn as needed
Sesame Seeds – 1 tsp optional
Take all the ingredients except ghee and sesame seeds in a bowl and mix well to a sticky dough.
Now grease your hands and take small portion from it and shape it into dumpling.
Place it in a greased steamer plate and steam for 8 to 10 mins on low heat.
Now remove it and set aside.
Heat ghee in a pan, add these dumplings and saute for 2 mins till it gets little crispy, now sprinkle sesame seeds and toss well.
|Wash your spinach really well|
|chop it very finely and set aside|
|take it in a bowl|
|add in gram flour|
|add in little wheat flour|
|Add in turmeric powder|
|Add in salt|
|add little sugar|
|add in cumin|
|and a pinch of chilli powder|
|mix well..if you want you can add very little water|
|take small portion and shape like this|
|place it in a steamer plate|
|steam till done|
|Heat ghee in a pan|
|Add these dumplings in|
|cook till it turns lightly golden|
|add in sesame seeds|
