Warm Italian Chicken Salad Recipe



I enjoy making and eating salads, specially chicken salads are my favourite. I have already shared a grilled chicken salad recipe which was my all time favourite. Now this has become my favourite. Not only because it is easy to make but it is really delicious and packed with full of protein and flavours. This is a warm salad so it makes a satisfying one bowl lunch or even dinner..



This salad is great when you have no much time on hand, a stop by your fridge and you have a yummy one bowl salad which has tons of flavours in them. I used Wish-Bone® Italian Dressing and Tyson® Grilled & Ready® Chicken to make my life easier. The chicken is already cooked, diced and freezed, all you have to do is just warm it in a pan or microwave and add it to whatever you feel like. But in this salad the addition of the salad dressing to the chicken will give a nicely tangy bite to it which is perfecto!



You can use the chicken to make quesadilla, add it to soups and salad, You can add it to rice and make a quick fried rice, add it to pastas..The options are pretty endless. The italian dressing has a nice tangy and a little sweet bite to it, which i simply loved. I am sure a dash of that dressing can jazz up the flavours of your plain ol boring salad..The reason why i loved this dressing is because it is Packed full of herbs, seasonings and flavors for an extra zesty boost of flavor and it has no high fructose corn syrup..You can buy both of these products in your near by walmart shops..

Preparation Time : 5 mins
Cooking Time : 10 mins
Serves: 3

Ingredients:

Olive Oil - 1 tsp
Capsicum / Red Bell Pepper - 2 chopped
Tomatoes - 2 large deseeded and cubed
Lettuce or Cabbage - 5 cups shredded
Tyson® Grilled & Ready®  Oven Roasted Diced Chicken Breast - 1 22 Oz Bag
Wish-Bone® Italian Dressing  - 1 cup or as needed
Olives as needed
Parmesan Cheese as needed

Method:

Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan, add in capsicum and stir fry till it gets nicely charred. Add in the chicken cubes and saute for 2 mins or so.

Add in the salad dressing and mix it well. 

Now take it off the heat and add in tomatoes and mix well..The residual heat will wilt the tomatoes just a little.

Now pour this warm mixture over a bowl of lettuce or cabbage, top with olives and parmesan and toss gently.

Serve immediately.

Start by deseeding the tomatoes..chop them up

now take your ingredients

Heat olive oil in a pan

add in bell pepper

cook till it gets bit chared

add in the chiken cubes

pour in the italian dressing

mix that well

now it has cooked nicely

take it off the heat and add in the tomatoes

mix that through, the residual heat will wilt the tomatoes

i have a bowl of shredded cabbage

pour the warm mixture over the cabbage



add in olives

sprinkle over some parmesan cheese

Toss gently and serve

Enjoy immediately
